This is your opportunity to showcase your talent, engage with our diverse audience, and contribute to the cultural richness of our event. ARTISTS & CRAFTERS

Artist/Crafter Application

We celebrate and appreciate the creativity that each artist brings to our event! Please complete the vendor application below to reserve your space for Threefoot Festival. 

The following amenities will be provided for Artists & Crafters:

  • Convenient Parking

  • Snack & bottled water cart for artists

  • Ample space between booths

  • Festival maps listing artist locations

​​​Facilities & Set-up

  • Exhibitors are responsible for their entire displays

  • No electricity will be available

  • This is a downtown festival, therefore all tents must be weighted properly

  • It is preferable for all tents to be white in color

  • Be prepared for inclement weather- the festival will be held rain or shine!​

Please note: Threefoot Festival will execute a marketing plan to include print media, television, radio, billboards, and social media.  Your participation in this event acknowledges the possible use of your images and images of your work. You may be contacted for interviews or comments for advertising purposes.

Artists & Crafters may also enter artwork into the Juried Exhibition for an additional $25 fee. The juried exhibition of quality fine art and fine crafts gives our large audience the unique opportunity to meet, interact with, view the works of, and purchase art from the artists who created it. Our independent panel evaluates artists based on the images submitted with their applications. Images must be representative of the works that will be shown at the Threefoot Festival. We emphasize the importance of high-quality images that represent your work and booth to its fullest potential. Awards will be presented to the juried artists. 

SPECIAL APPLICATIONS:

  • Collaborating Artists: For groups of two or more artists collaborating on a single piece, we encourage a joint entry. If accepted, exhibiting is limited to the collaborative work.

  • Multiple Categories: Artists interested in applying across different district categories may do so with one application, though only one jury fee is applicable. However, multiple applications within the same category are not permitted.

A signed contract/application indicates an acceptance of the rules and regulations of the Meridian Council for the Arts and the Threefoot Arts Festival Committee. The respective committee reserves the right to make final interpretation of all rules. The undersigned has read and complies with the rules printed in the guidelines and application.

Food Vendors Anchor

FOOD VENDORS

PARTICIPATION
Vendors of food and beverages, both for profit and non-profit will be allowed. All vendors must fill out an application, and have your application and items for sale approved by the Threefoot Festival Committee prior to set-up. The Threefoot Festival Committee reserves the right to deny any application it feels necessary to deny. Public health and safety will be reasons for denial, but not the only reasons for denial.

 

REPORTING SALES AND PAYING TAXES:
The reporting of all sales, and the reporting and paying of all taxes is the sole responsibility of the vendor. All vendors must have a tax identification number or submit a social security number to be approved.

 

HOURS OF OPERATION:
All vendors must be in place and open for business by 10:00 a.m. No one will be allowed into the area after 9:30 a.m. for set up. You may set up the evening before starting at 6 p.m. Security is provided.


LOCATION, SIZE, ACCOMMODATIONS:
The committee will determine the location of your space. Your requests as to area will be taken into consideration. The event will be held rain or shine, no exceptions. You are responsible for your own set up, providing your own tables, chairs, overhead protection, decorations, signage, ice and etc. The vendor committee reserves the right to require a vendor to remove and replace any inappropriate decorations or signage. ONLY a few slots with electricity are available! Electricity is provided on a first come, first served basis. If you need electricity that must be stated on your application and the amperage needed must be included. You must state on your application if your requirements of electricity are large or out of the ordinary. We will provide electricity to as many people as possible, but advance notice is required. Your space will be marked with your organization’s name on it. Please set up in the space assigned to you only.


INSURANCE, HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND SAFETY REGULATIONS:
You are responsible for having your own liability insurance and are also responsible for passing any Health Department and safety regulations that apply in your case. We have attached local health requirements (please fill out and return with your application) and fire regulations.

 

CANCELLATIONS:
Event will be held RAIN OR SHINE. There will be no refunds given for vendor cancellations.


SECURITY:
There will be police officers in and around the event area during event hours. However, vendors are responsible for their own stock and equipment. The Meridian Council for the Arts will not be responsible for losses.


PROMOTION:
Flyers, banners, newspaper articles and radio and television public service announcements will promote the event.


CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT:
A signed copy of the Vendor Application is considered to be a contractual agreement after the vendor committee approves the application. The Threefoot Festival Committee reserves the right to cancel the contract due to breach of any of the aforementioned items.

 

APPLICATIONS:
You will be notified by telephone or e-mail of the status of your application by April 1, 2024. Applications received after the March 1 deadline will be notified of their approval as soon as possible. Remember, location and electricity is on a first come, first served basis.

Nonprofit Organizations

Are you a nonprofit organization benefiting our community? If so, then reserve your spot now to set up a FREE booth at the Threefoot Festival to promote awareness of your cause and impact on the community! You may distribute any materials you would like to promote your organization to festival-goers. Please note that you and your team are responsible for bringing your own table and/or tent, and you must have an attendant present at your booth from 9:30am - 5pm on Saturday, April 20.
