Juried Fine Arts Exhibition: Rules & Regulations

Abstract Painting

The Threefoot Arts Festival is a downtown celebration of the visual and performing arts. Our focus is the juried exhibiition of quality fine art and fine crafts, giving our large audience the unique opportunity to meet, interact with, view the works of, and purchase art from the artists who created it. Add to that the hands-on children's art activities, live performances, and the famous Threefoot Bloody Mary's and you have an arts extravaganza!

The juried art contest is open to fine artists aged 18 and above, providing a platform for talented individuals to showcase their work. The selection process involves a jury, which reserves the right to carefully review and approve or respectfully decline artworks presented for consideration.

ENTRY FEE: $25

SPECIAL APPLICATIONS:

  • Collaborating Artists: For groups of two or more artists collaborating on a single piece, we encourage a joint entry. If accepted, exhibiting is limited to the collaborative work.

  • Multiple Categories: Artists interested in applying across different district categories may do so with one application, though only one jury fee is applicable. However, multiple applications within the same category are not permitted.

Our independent panel evaluates artists based on the images submitted with their applications. Images must be representative of the works that will be shown at the Threefoot Festival. We emphasize the importance of high-quality images that represent your work and booth to its fullest potential.

Selection criteria includes craftsmanship, originality, creativity, and display appeal. Please note that commercially manufactured items, ceramics from molds, mass-produced items, plants, soaps, candles, food items, books, CDs, t-shirts, and commercial jewelry are not allowed. Reproductions, including giclee prints, are allowed but must be clearly marked.

In the event a category reaches full capacity, artists with outstanding works may be placed on a "wait list."
